My understanding is that he has a summary judgement against him. I that not correct?

Who was the Guru on this site who just got sued and hammered?

Why was he sued?

What happened? (I don’t want to do what he did)

Why was my post deleted the first time I posted this question?

You have to wonder why all the posts that say say the DA in Washington is completely wrong are allowed to stay, while anything negative about JK is deleted.

Also, I just looked on this very site (CRE) to see that the Blue Pen Flip course advertisement still says “Six months of Online access to Joe at the Blue Pen Flip training site.” No such site has ever existed nor will ever exist. That is clearly false advertising.

I know because I purchased the Blue Pen Flip two years ago, which was a complete waste of money. I emailed JK repeatedly asking him where the access to him was.

One has to wonder why someone who lies to his own customers (or at the very least fails to keep his word) would behave so honorably in other areas of his business.

Yet we are supposed to believe the propaganda.

  1. This “guru” is the sharpest, most innovative investor I have ever met—bar none.
  2. He got sued b/c politically correct, business ignorant bureaucrats didn’t like his use of WA atatutes to make a profit.
  3. Go to the King County courthouse and pull the docket, it’ll tell you all want to know. (You could do alot worse than to follow Joe’s methods).
  4. Your post sounds like you’re a “plant” from one of the WA agencies who carried a personal vendetta against Joe. Perhaps that’s why you got some sarcastic responses.

Not sure who you are referring to but a guy by the name of Bill Gatten, one of his workers actually really got hammered. You can read about it at John T Reed’s site:

You now need a license in Ohio to do a Bill Gatten trust, and probably in every other state as well, if/when in comes before the licensing board.

Maybe you should rephrase your question in a more positive light. You sound to vindictive in nature. Who are you anyway and why do you want to know? Are you being sued? If so, just ask and you shall receive. That I am positive of.

The Blue Pen Flip Site - Posted by Joe Kaiser

The Blue Pen Flip site does exist, it’s just never been turned on.

We didn’t realize the AG’s office had planted a mole into the BPF
training program until it was too late, and, for obvious reasons (and
some not so obvious), I decided it best to leave the site down until my
case was settled.

If you have any questions about it in the meantime, do not hesitate to
get in contact with me.

Joe Kiser may be a very honorable man. I personally hope he is. What I do not understand is all the mystery and lack of explanation that surrounds his problems. If he had this problem and he evidently does, what caused it? To just say it was the fault of an AG who was out to get him, is not an adequate explanation. What did he actually do and why did he do it and what made it illegal in at least the authorities eyes? I think all the Creonline participants are owed an explanation. Please help us, why not?

Walt my friend and I hope you are my friend, you seem to have a blind spot when it comes to Joe. He may be the greatest Guru ever, and then again he may not. The point is what did he do and why and why was he charged for it. Was it illegal or not? Don’t just simply tell us to go look up the case, that is not sufficient. Let us hear the whole story and judge for ourselves.

Nope, not the guy I was looking for although thanks. I found it and have what I need.

BTW: I looked up this thing in Ohio and found out you do not need license to do a Bill Gatten trust. The guy who was sued altered Gattens material and was dishonest with his dealings and thats what got him in trouble. Gatten was named because it had his organizations name on the docs but Gatten prevailed and no license is required to do his trust or any one elses.

Thanks for the info.

Joe has told his story on this board several times over the past 18 months or so I’d say. He has a website dedicated to his fight agst the AG entitled www.pushedtoshove.com. If you’re that interested in his endeavors, take some time and go thru the archives here as well as his website. After that, make your own conclusions, as I have made mine.

You say the guy altered Gattenâ??s material. I didnâ??t see that in the Ohio Real Estate Commissionâ??s findings. Can you show me where it says that? Seems Gattenâ??s company actually received payment and established the trust, didnâ??t they catch the altered material?

The same findings referred to Bill Gattenâ??s trust as a â??â?¦.(unlicensed active)â??. That sounds to me like you need a license. This is based on the Ohio Real Estate Commissionâ??s published findings. You say Gatten prevailed and it was determine no license is necessary, can you point me to the court case or the published findings that reversed the Commissionâ??s positon? The Commission determines who needs a license and who doesnâ??t, so I would seem important they publish a reversal so anybody attempting a Gatten trust would know for sure.

Clyde

Your recall is probably wrong, I suspect your recalling some other Utah scam artist, there were several.

I moved to Utah for a heart transplant and did some investing here to kill time and I’ve only heard good things about this guy. You would think I would hear at least one nay with the amount of people I talked to, but nothing.

I have been an investor since 1955 and a California real estate broker since 1965. I developed a system of investing about 25 years ago which I called skinny investing and I suspect it is a lot like the Gatten trust.

I know that my trust doesn’t violate the licensing laws of any state I lived in, or know of, because your always dealing as a principle, I think the Gatten trust probably works the same way so I would love to hear the details of that Ohio ruling or whatever state it was. Of course being a broker where I invest eliminates the problem anyway.

Posted by wareia on January 16, 2009 at 10:57:47:

Now why would you say something like that? WAREIA is a very large REIA in Utah and I am the President and Founder.

I simply asked because I get questions from our members about such things and we would like to discuss them at our meetings.

If you were an investor, wouldn’t you like to know if something is legal or if a Guru is getting sued for his/her method before you spent thousands of dollars?

WAREIA/Me, has not been “barred” or I would not have been able to even post this question.

Perhaps I should have asked it a different way, but why suggest We/I/WAREIA are “on the shady side”. It’s not only not nice, it’s not true. Sorry Clyde, but I think your comment was unjustified.

What I was looking for is a person. Is it a group of bashers or just one basher hiding behind a group? If this group is as you say then that might explain the “tone” of the question.

Walt. I have already done that. Nothing that I have seen really explains what happened and why he was convicted. I respect your own conclusions, but I still see no real evidenece that that what you say is true? Please enlighten me.
