A. D. Kessler?s book, A Fortune At Your Feet, has two or so pages on this subject. A general idea but no specific way of doing this. I was interested in this in selling one house but nobody understood the concept and nobody was interested. I know this is done on many houses in Irvine and other places. Hawaii did not include the land for a very long time until recently.
If you find out more on this subject, I would be very interested in it. I asked A. D. Kessler at a meeting once and he told me it is a minor land division that a title company and tax assessor can do.
