Ok, I had to call a few friends and have a laugh…Ryan N may finally stopped laughing after I told him about this past month…

I was VERY tempted to tell a phone caller today…
(with sarcasm)

No, of course the park doesn’t care WHAT your credit is, what your behavior has been in the past, ANY OLD THING WILL DO you don’t need to have income, you will get a new job, etc etc…

The best one so far this month has been the lady that applied to the park, and had 7 evictions in the past year… don’t blame me, she applied to the park before I even met her…

I was sitting in front of one of my for sale homes, she and her mother pulled up, and wanted to see the home…

The funny thing was, I showed the home to her and her mother, I did not even get it that she was trying to manipulate me into lowering the price by telling me her dad was in hospice, and her mom has melenoma… (now, remember, mom is standing right there…) I just told them I was sorry to hear they were having difficulties, I had lost my mother to alzhemizers, and continued to tell them about the homes…!!!

It wasn’t until I got home later that I had the ah ha moment, and thought… oh, she was trying to get me to lower the price by playing on my sympathies… gee whiz

10 years of real estate investing and property management I guess maybe I have become a heartless b*tch landlady!!! lol
guess it was bound to happen…

not really, I mean, I have worked hard with each of my buyers to keep them in the homes, when that was their goal… if it isn’t their goal, there is not a thing you can do that will make it work out…

I still am top of the list customer for the contractors I use on my apartment building… I set up a cooler of gatorade, water, and ice for the guys that had to demolish and rebuild the catch basin behind the garage of my apartment building… 90s heat, 90% or higher humidity… Gatorade was the least I could do… but the darn ice costs a fortune… lol
