Any bedroom has to have two ways out so egress windows would have to be installed section 8 or not.(to make it legal & prevent a lawsuit)

Would section 8 allow this? - Posted by Brian_wa

I have a house that has 2 bedrooms in the basement. The basement is a full basement but the bedrooms have windows that are really high up. As the result, I’m not sure if Section 8 would be ok with that or not. Have you experienced that before?

Probably Not, but… - Posted by Jimmy

The house may pass a Section 8 inspection, but only with reference to the upstairs bedrooms. JJ is right about the “two exit” rule.
I have a 1300sf 3/2 duplex unit that was slammed a few weeks ago on a housing inspection. the middle bedroom has a doorway to the hall, but no windows to the outside. this failed inspection as a 3-bedroom, but passed as a 2-bedroom.
