I hope you have a real estate license. If you do, then you can do this, but don’t expect to get rich, McDonalds would pay better. Also be careful about soliciting owners already listed by another broker. It’s not illegal but it violates the REALTORS code of ethics. Good luck.

I have started a new business to offer landlords assistance filling vacant properties with qualified tenants. My services include: performing credit/reference check, Free advertising of the rental property, showing the property to prospective tenants, lease paperwork. My services are commission-based.
In the rural area that I live in, there is a huge demand for rental houses, and not enough to go around in this town. I would like to recruit properties/landlords by offering my services to owners of houses already listed for sale.
I would like some feedback as to what you think about this idea?
