Hello everyone,
How should my wife and i do this? I am buying a home that i will rent out. She is buying a couple of homes that she will rent out. We are in New York State and want to form an llc. The problem is that the state charges $100/yr to renew a single member llc, and $500/yr to renew a double member llc. Should we form seperate llcs, or should we form a lp?
One of the reasons i like the idea of one llc is so that we can show more equity to lenders.
I would appreciate any insight
