I got a special invitation in the mail with two free tickets for a conference… excuse me, the nation’s #1 conference on Real Estate Investing and Total Asset Protection.
As I said, this is a “special invitation” because I was “referred” to Mr. West; he doesn’t mention whom.
I thought since CRE is the #1 site for real estate investors I could find out something here. But a site search turns up nothing on West, Bluhm or the Craigs.
Anyone know these people or have an opinion?

My Name is Reed West, and I am a wonderful guy, people shouldn’t judge a person by his/her name! You guys are crazy I have been out with this company for fifteen years, if you don’t want to attend a seminar, then don’t. These seminars are for informational use and yes we do sell a product, but everybody does, we still have bills to pay, to rent a ballroom at a hotel is not free.

Done that and I am poorer for it. One word of advice for anyone who wants to attend the “celebrity conference” with Donald Trump or his side kick, or Reed west, or several others. Just say ‘NO’.
This is a very well orchestrated scam. You can find the information on the internet for much cheaper. I have already found much this information foreclosures, renatl properties, at various internet sits, you may want to consider looking at www.rei.com.
Asset protection, Land Trusts, Limited Family Partnerships, etc there are several good write ups on the internet for free.
As with anything buyer beware. Always research before buying.
Personally I was sucked into this by a friend of mine, and now we both regret forking over the 6K for a class, that wanted you to fork over another 15K, and so on and so on. They have yet to keep their promise of supplying a mentor. Legal action against is tough.
Just say ‘NO’.
In fact I am way surprised how they are able to keep doing this. There is no legitimacy of their program, there is little if any positive write ups about them. But what is also surprising is finding no negative write up by any legimate news organizations or governmental organizations.
Just say NO.

I just attended a conference in CT. The info is great, but there are much cheaper ways of getting the investment and legal information than buying a package at the ‘show’. (ex. comprehensive tax lein investing info w/ contacts and updates for $299 found on web vs $2500 at the conference.) Go so you can find out about these opportunities, but buy the info elsewhere.

Received two “free” invitations to Feb. 17, 05 Pasadena, CA seminar. Called the 800 number and could not get anything but a ‘busy signal’ AFTER an operator (recording)first answered and assured me "…someone will be right with you. Nothing to be found on Google except this sight…? Canb someone enlighten me as to this “incredibly valuable” seminar - and the whereabouts of its "President: Reed West…!!!

Ok- since I made my joke may I offer my consistant advice? Stay Home and buy your seminars on video or CD on Ebay - for the $5,000 you can get a lot of stuff! If you want “the latest,” then post here for updates!

This was my plan. I think there is enough online that I can order. Both of the two gentlemen mentioned in the “invitation” are available at Amazon.com for nominal price. Glad this link was available to confirm my caution.
