Which Seminar??? - Posted by Larry From Indy
Posted by Larry From Indy on January 16, 2003 at 13:09:09:
I am new to Real Estate Investing and Mobile Homes and am planning to attend the 3 day seminar in Feb. In the meantime I was reading the promo on the CREO convention in March and it appears that agenda also has Lonnie along with several others at a lesser price. It also appears the CREO convention is more intense with a wider range of presenters. Has anyone been to both or have an opinion which might be more “bang for my buck”
Thanks, Larry

The Convention is a melting pot of author/investors with various approaches to investing ranging from Single Family Lease/Option, Subject-to, Land Lording, buying/selling etc., along with commercial investing, IRA investing, working with Lenders, mobile home parks and mobile homes (and probably things I have missed). Each speaker has a couple of hours.
In the mobile home workshop, each of the three author/investors has an entire day dedicated to their area of expertise. The last two times has been Lonnie the first day with a round table discussion session that night (you can go and sit with each of them and ask your individual question).
The next day is Terry Vaughan teaching about note buying and selling. That night you have the a “dealer maker’s forum” where you can present your current deals for adivice from the speakers and the crowd.
The third day Ray teaches commercial investing into mobile home parks.
Very topic specific.
So if you have focused on mobile home type investing as an area of interest, this would be your workshop. If you are still trying to find your area of interest, then the CRE Convention would be your best choice.
Best Wishes,
