It does not matter to me if LeGrand has done 1200 deals or 12 deals. The fact that he has done deals does not tell me if his materials will help ME do 1200 deals in the course of my real estate investing career. I don’t need to know if the experts can do it, I need to know if they can teach it.
When I taught college freshmen and sophomores business data processing, no one ever asked me how many computer programs I had written. I was hired because I could demonstrate training skills and a command of the subject material that allowed me to transfer my knowledge to my students in a way that allowed them to implement the methods and procedures in their own programming practices.
My point is that the personal success of each of the experts you mention is not an indicator of my success with their methods. Perhaps, the question you really want to ask should be “How easy is it to comprehend the material and implement their methods?”
This question can be answered by others on this board who have previously purchased the materials you are considering.
I would like to see some actual evidence that these
gurus are really doing deals (Ron Legrand, Joe Kaiser,
etc…) It seems to me that Ron Legrand makes more of his
money from selling his tapes and bootcamps than from
real estate. I asked his organization if I could get some
actual proof to verify if Ron Legrand really did do 1200
real estate deals. All I got was a whole lot of hostility
from them. I wonder why? Also, it will be interesting to
see all of the people attacking me just because I want to
see some proof before I buy anything from these gurus.

Brian,
I can appreciate your skepticism, especially when you have to shell out hard earned money for information that may have a positive impact on your livelyhood.
My partner, Susie and myself had the privilage of meeting Joe Kaiser two and half years ago. We have been using his material since then and we have been doing very well by it. Do what he tells you and it works!
I have not personally bought Ron LeGrand’s material, but I have heard very good things about him and his program and the word is that it is very good for those just starting out. Susie and I have worked hard to build our business to where it is over the last three plus years and we felt pretty good about the way we have been doing it, that is until last weekend. Last weekend we had the privilage in having lunch with Ron LeGrand. Though our meeting was a brief forty minutes of casual conversation, Mr Legrand pointed out some of the things that Susie and I were doing wrong. He spoke out of his own experience of having made the same mistake that Susie and I were currently making. After some careful thought we discovered that he was right. The kind of advice he gave to somewhat experienced investors can only come from someone that has “been there, done that”.
If you want to know about other gurus (etc.), I’d be happy to speak highly of Claude Diamond, Bill Bronchick, Ray Como and a couple others or you can probably ask many of the other people that frequent this site.

Brian,
I can understand where you are coming from. But consider this, Both of the guru’s you mention are well noted in the real estate circut. Do they make money selling there programs? Yes they do. Do the people that buy them make money with the programs? Only the ones that pursue it with determination will. Can they guarantee you will make money with it? No they can’t, thats up to you. Do these guys still do deals? yes they do.
The person you talked to may have become frustrated with you because you were asking questions that are irelivant to what the program is about. It is common knowlege in the real estate industry that Le grand is a major player. He has helped Thousands of people make money with his programs. We are all lucky that we have this type of information available to us even if we have to pay for it. If you had the knowledge these guys did I am sure you would sell this information too.
I guess what I am trying to say is don’t get to sinacle about finding the problems with legrands program. Find out the positive things and see if that is what you really want to do. It almost looks like you are trying to talk yourself out of it before you get started.

Brother, I am not going to attack you. I don’t believe anyone in business should disrespect their customers. If that is what happened to you when you called for information, then probably somebody was having a bad day.
Now with that being said, friend you need to ask yourself a few questions. First, What are your own goals. Second, What is your plan of action for achieving these goals. Third, Where can you go to get the information you need to implement your plan. Finally, what kind of self talk do you need to give yourself to set you on your own path to success. Focus is the key, focus on your own success.
I have never met Ron LeGrand, nor have I met Joe Kaiser. However I am a full time real estate investor. I have invested in some of their material, and have found it to be some of the best out there for what we are doing. My family has been very blessed with this business, we have been very successful in a short amount of time and we are very happy with what we are doing. Being a “Real Investor”, I would highly recommend their material, as I have found it to be very useful in my business.
I don’t know where your bad feelings from these “guru’s” have come from, and frankly that is really not important. If your serious about being in the real estate investing business, and being successful at it. I hope you will take the time and take yourself out of this situation and reflect for a moment the issue here. The issue is where do you want to go personally from here.

I have personally witnessed Ron Legrand students here in the Atlanta area buying properties and making money using Ron’s methods. I have seen them make $200,000 profit on a single deal. I believe that you will find plenty of people that have purchased Ron or Joe’s courses, and have done nothing. But the question is :
What are you going to do ?
Are you going to continue to sit on the sideline and snipe at the players in the game ? Or are you going to get off the bench and get in the game ?
It is up to you. No guru is going to do it for you. No proof will convince you to do it.
