Thanks, having heard it twice. I can’t argue.

Where do I start? - Posted by Maurice

Posted by Maurice on December 10, 2001 at 08:54:22:

Hello Friends,

I’m ready to start doing “Lonnie” deals, but where do I start? In other words, who do I talk to; what ads should I read? I’m ready to buy, but where do I find motivated sellers? Please help.

Thanks,
Maurice

I’m quoting another poster here, but it’s true. You MUST read 1. Lonnie’s “Deals on Wheels” and 2. These posts–as far back as you can go. There is SO much here to help you. The motivation, of course, is up to you.

READ first, ask questions later. In any event, don’t suffer from “paralysis from analysis”.

READ, ASK, DO.

Thanks, Brian. I’ve done a ton of reading and will continue, but as you suggested I don’t want to become paralyzed. So I’m looking to move into action. Are you in the MH business? If so, how did you get started? Who are your sellers? Tenant/owners or MH park owners or…? Again, thanks for the encouraging words, I will definitely continue to read.

Maurice,

As Brian suggested, order the book “Deals on Wheels” and read it before you move into action. Most of your questions will be answered in this book. Its only $30, and you can read it in an evening. The discussion here supplements that information. Get the basic education first, then make your move.
