Sounds like you are working on the issues. I bet you could find a cheap car for under $500 at an auto auction or used car lot. That would at least get you mobile.
Good luck,

Sell something you own
Sell your car
Get a loan against your car
Get a loan against something else you own
Borrow from a friend
Borrow from a relative
Borrow from a credit union
Borrow from a bank
Do odd jobs
Babysit
Buy something at a yard sale and resell it for more
Buy a used car at an auction and resell it for more
Get money from a rich relative
Find a money partner
Get the money from the seller
I am sure you can add to the list…

What’s the most creative way to find a “money partner” to do deals? How do I setup so that we can work together? As I’ve said before family and friends will not loan me money. Banks are definitely out the question!
Thanks for responding.

Just out of curiosity, why are family and friends out of the question?

In general, getting a money partner is the best solution out in the field. The most successful real estate investor I know uses this technique.
Don’t let Greed get in your way. Share the wealth and your world will be bigger.

HI Nate(DC),
My family believe I need to go to school to get a license to do real estate investing…they (simply) don’t understand that I dont NEED one for creative real estate investing. Few friends that I do have…do not have any money to loan me.
Good news: I’ve called around and found a couple of investors that will Fund, if I Find deals in my area, but their criteria is to only buy in the surburbs; not city.
Bad news: I do not have a car to get around to do deals. So that’s what I’m working on right now!!
