Thank you for your suggestions. Are you familiar with some of these tax courses? Which ones have you used that you might recommend.

Where do I Find Good Real EstateTax Accountants?? - Posted by John-FLA

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows where I should look to find a good, reputable tax accountant who works with real estate investors. I have tried a couple of accountants but they were the type who just took the information a tax time, filled out the necessary paper work, sent in to The IRS and then billed me. I need a tax accountant who can listen to what I want to do, help me plan, and give me some advice. I have an S Corp and need to figure how to do a few things. Any advice would be appreciated if anyone knows where to look or how to find these type of tax accountants.
Thank you,
John

Three suggestions
1- Ask other REIs who they use.
2- Use a CPA who is a real estate investor
3- Be prepared to educate yourself and your CPA. While they are time consuming and make boring reading, you can get tax courses oriented for real estate.
Good Luck,
Ron (CPA)
