Site Selection magazine just released its annual rankings of the top metros and top micro markets for economic development projects, a prime marker for job growth. See www.siteselection.com
You can also access the latest (2005) census data for the top growth counties at http://www.census.gov/popest/counties/
There are a number of reports available from the drop-down menu, and the data can be downloaded in Excel for sorting.
