Anyone every purchase Wendy Patton’s lease option package? She is based in Detroit. Is it any good or is it a rip off?

Wendy’s course is pretty good. But be aware that she works with realtors and their listings and she takes all or most of the option money you get from the tenant buyer and give it to the realtor as their up front commission. This means you have to be able to cover the rent if your tenant buyer does not and any repairs needed if the tenant buyer causes damage (there is no security deposit) out of your own pocket.
Her materials are pretty good, but she is now on the band wagon of making money selling other people’s programs. So she sends you an email every week about someone she has “worked with forever” or “is a good friend” and a webinar they are doing and of course she gets her cut of any package anyone buys.
I just went to her boot camp in June 2009, there was a LOT of other speakers selling their programs. I didn’t think she did that from what I had heard of her. The boot camp ended up being a review of basic information (things already in the materials) and after the first day there was no time for any questions and answers, she said how we were making her behind with our questions. But there was time for all the sales people, multiple ones each day, each doing 1-2+ hours of their sales pitch. Check out the materials, but skip the boot camp, it was not worth it.
