Washington Post article - help! - Posted by Joseph Zimny

ah, simple-tons…okay, let’s be clear.

The interview was conducted on the telephone and the author is in Beijing. I’m in Shanghai (it’s about the same distance from New York to Miami).

I don’t have a copy because copy editors in Washington edit the authors work and he, the author, doesn’t even see the final copy until it is published. And by that time, like many busy people, he’s off writing other stories. He doesn’t sit around clipping his own work and sending off copies to everyone he interviews.

Chinese media censors spend the entire day figuring out ways to block web sites…they’re censors, it’s what they do. Washington Post is high on the list of targets and we can’t load up the site so no one here can clip it for me. Most of you are in the U.S. so thought someone might do a quick favor.

No one on this site is a target client, in any case. Our business focuses exclusively on high-end real estate developers in this region and a rare number of foreign investors (mainly U.K.-based) who venture over to this part of the word. Covert advertising on this forum would, frankly, be pointless.
You will notice that I haven’t mentioned my company yet in any of this.

I’ve been quoted in many articles…I’d have a library full of clippings if I had copies of each one by now…

I hope someone can help me with this.
An article posted this week in the Washington Post or New York Times regarding real estate in China. I was interviewed by the author, who included a blurb about our company and a quote.
I would like to post the article on our company web page.

Alas, the Chinese government is blocking the web site and I cannot obtain a soft copy. It would be great if someone could clip a copy and e-mail the attachment to me.

Currently, we’re using a lot of the techniques found on this site locally in Shanghai and they’re working well when we can find sellers who are truely creative.

Thanks for the help!!

If your actually quoted in the article -then why did you not get a copy of it…hmm… Don’t bother adding me to your spam list. i sense your working on an advertizing angle here. hope the monitors take your post and mine off.
