Ok, I can’t help it… here’s a shameless plug for my book, “DealMaker’s Guide to Commercial Real Estate”.

It specifically covers how to evaluate new markets, what to look for, where to find the info and how to interpret the data. There is a whole chapter on property management and how to interview, select and compensate a fee manager. Also included is a chapter on how to develop relationships with local banks.

I am interested in finding a book that outlines how to succeed in out of state investing. I am considering puchasing a 27 untit income property out of state and am looking for a good book on how to maximize the investment, deal with property managers and avoid the pitfalls.
