I’m not a lawyer, but as far as I know, you can cut whatever is over your property line. What did the police tell you?

If a circumstance has come up in which selling my house isn’t possible, but I have already okayed the deal, is there any way to get out of the contract? I am not to closing yet and I want to stop things. How do I do it?

Gary,
that’s a tough one to answer to. You may want to talk to the buyer? Personally, twice buyers stopped talking to me and I sued them for specific performance. They were forced to sell to me. If they had talked to me and told me what’s goig on or maybe offered me soemthing for my trouble, I’m sure we would have come to an agreement.

I sawed a branch off that was over my roof when the neighbor came over he said it was his tree and called the police.his stockade fence was on the other side of the trees. is there a part of the land that is like no mans land?and if the tree is on the property line can I cut it. I only wanted one branch off and he had a drunken fit.
