Go to the treasurer’s office and find out where the tax bills go. Send a letter to that perosn, unless it’s a mortgage company. If it’s a mortgage company, then send a letter to the property address and hope it gets forwarded. Also, you can ask neighbors where the owners went.

I am wanting to track down the owner of a single family house that has been vacant for at least a few months now.

I have been to the county recorder’s office and got the transfer record which shows the owner’s name. A phone number from a local directory is disconnected.

I am hoping to make an offer, since the house looks like a good rehabber.

Any suggestions are welcome.
