If you can’t find a phone number, then send him a letter that asks if he is interested in selling. Y

our offer will have to be based on the fair market value of the house, the repairs, the seller’s situation, & your financial situation.

It’s better to insult the seller than to get stuck paying too much for a house.

Vacant House - Posted by Ivonne

I’m a first time visitor to this site. I have a question pertaining to a vacant house and am hoping someone may be able to assist me.

I found a house that’s vacant and would like to purchase it in order to fix and sell it. I have located the owner’s name and address and would like to approach him about purchasing his property. What should I do?

Also, how do I decide what offer to make for the house, since the house is not for sale (at least, it doesn’t have a “For Sale” sign). I don’t want to insult the owner with a low bid but, on the other hand, I don’t want to offer too much for the house either.

Please help!!!
