Doug Pelton------------

I would consider that a no money down purchase, if all the downpayment is borrowed money. I suspect most investors would say the same.

But, what difference does it make what we call it? If you want you can call it a “hypoponomous.” As long as you make a purchase that you like and that makes sense financially.

Using equity as Cash Down - Posted by Doug Pelton

Taking cash out of an inherited, free-clear rental property.Using part of the cash to purchase another rental.
(basic stuff , I know)

Is the use of that cash for a downpayment considered a
no money down deal…since I’m borrowed money?

Thanks
