Jim,
I put a few signs up (L.A. area) and I got a call from a lady from a community group saying she had collected my signs and was sending them to the city attorney’s office for prosecution. Signs on utility poles I found out is a $200 fine per sign (plus community service in some cases). What is the fine for sticking them in the ground? Where are the intersections where it is LEGAL to post a couple signs? Thanks for the info.

Curious…did you have to pay the fine or did they just warn you so that you don’t do it next time? Is is a state law or a city/town ordinance? Do you still post bandit signs today?
If I started placing signs in my town, I would probably abandon this whole ‘bandit sign’ advertising. However, since I had my signs up for WEEKS in neighboring towns/cities, I know that not every town is the same and I’ll continue placing my signs at different towns/locations.
