Will putting my 2 flat property (I also (the owner) occupy this property) into a Land Trust allow me to legally rent to family members (Parents, Children,etc) with Section 8? Hud in June 1978, apparently found it necessary to disqualify owners renting to close family member? In other words a owner of a property can not receive section 8 from close family. My property is located in cook county Illinois.
Will the land trust with me as the beneificary assist me with getting around this or should I take it a step further to create more privacy?

Take a good look at the rules. If Sec 8 speaks of “controlled” or “affiliated” entities, you would be committing fraud.
