Urgent!!! In need of Mentor Questions - Posted by Scrum
Posted by Scrum on September 19, 2000 at 18:29:53:
I will be lucky enough to have a guy involved in the local real estate business pay me a visit tomorrow (Wednesday). He has amassed what I consider to be a an asset base that puts him half way to retiring.
I want to ask some poignant questions relative to the local market and drain as much info out of him. Without tiring him ofcourse. I understand he has been self employed since birth practically.
Can anyone suggest a question or two that they would ask a fairly successful local real estate investor? Please respond and thanks in advance.
examples might include…
local tax implications, best local RE agents, best Financial or tax advisors, best locations for homes, his favorite strategy, financing options etc…
Tks All

Here are a few more suggestions:
What title company/closing agent do you recommend?
Who is the best local mortgage broker?
What is your most productive marketing method?
If you knew then, what you know now, what would you do differently?
In your opinion, what is the most important piece of advice you can give someone who is just starting out?
If you were in my shoes, what question do you think I should be asking you?
Hope this helps.
Best of Success!!
