Well you can listen to Carlton Sheets and use his purchase contract that cost him tens of thousands of dollars to perfect in legal fees…lol… Or you can use a standard contract that the realtors in your area use and add your ammendments to it… Terms can be added… Like on a simultaneous closing you can add to a standard contract under other terms that you are selling this property contingent upon you buying it to protect yourself or you can pay an attorney to create a contract that says that… Me personally I rather keep my 300.00 and hand write it myself in the other terms section…lol

What kind of contract do you boys (and girls!) use to tie up a piece of property?

Is it just a simple contract to purchase that you’ve written up, or do you need to use some fancy contracts?..if so where could I get these?

Thanks to everyone out there who makes this such a great site…we can feel ok about asking questions that are so obvious to some, but such a roadblock to others…

Happy investing! oh…and Merry Christmas!
