If she gives you a deed and you continue to pay her mtg., it’s done.

No sale necessary!

To make sure you get a good title, I think I would pay a title/escrow co. to prepare the deed and check her title to make sure SHE owns it & this way you’d know exactly what liens are on the property now.

My friends who do a lot of this, taking “subject to” her mtg to lender, say they never have any flack from the lenders, as lender normally has no problem with anybody who’s paying them.

My mother wants to give me her house, she still owes 80,000 on it. How can we transfer realestate to a relative with out the hassal of going thru a sale?
