20 years ago my husband purchased a property (in UT) with a group of friends, in a partnership that we have no documentation for. The corporation was never registered with the State of Utah. We have since bought out all the other partners and have had full ownership of the property for the last 18 years. We have now sold the property but because the name on the title was the unregistered corporation, the title company will only cut the check to the corporation, not us. The bank will not allow us to cash the check because the name of the corporation is not connected to us on our account. What do we do now?
