Frankly, if you’re worried about titles, you’re headed in the wrong direction.

For many reasons, I would use no title:

  1. It can help in negociations to allow for that “must get approval” technique.

  2. It might cut down on junk mail/e-mail especially aimed at owners.

3.It allows you to play a variety of roles depending to the audience.

Be sure to spell out WHAT you do- i.e., "I buy houses " and any inducement, such as a finders fee . That will get you the right kind of contact!

My partner and I formed an LLC earlier this year and are in the process of getting business cards. We have 20 rental units and are “holders” for the most part…no flips as of yet. We are 50/50 owners in the company and manage them ourselves. My question: what title should we use on our business cards? Owner, investor, property manager, no title??? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.
