What is the earliest date that I can sell timber off a tax sale property purchase? State of Texas.
Thanks,
Camnjess

I agree with David. Texas gives you a deed to the propety and the law says you can do pretty much with it whatever you desire “SUBJECT TO THE RIGHT OF REDEMPTION.”
If you cut and sold the timber, then you would probably have to repay the owner atthe time of redemption and maybe get sued for selling it in the first place.
I would strongly suggest that you make no physical changes to the property prior to the redemption period expiring which is either 6 months or 2 years depending on the status of the property.
Good Luck,
