What do you view as the role mobile home investing will play
in the current market?
With the problems in getting bank financing, the volatility
of the economy as a whole, the lack of willingness to spend
(and desire to horde) I’m wondering if this niche might be
the best way to still make a buck in the real estate field.
Haven’t done a MH deal, but to me, it looks to be the best
of what’s out there at this point in time.

Excellent question.
For me the mobile home would have to include the land.
The path each of us takes to get to our goals will vary. If you find opportunity in the form of a mobile home or a stick built single family or multi-family property it will be worth considering.
While we need to create our own economy it helps consider the larger economy, gov’t interference in the free market and what effects it may have in our businesses.
Affordable properties that pay for themselves quickly would be my target if I were starting again.
