I have a 750 credit score and am a veteran. I live a modest life with no kids or wife and a small savings. I have been talking to a friend who has come into some money who would like to work with me funding the rehabs. I would like to start doing this full time living in a camper parked in the driveway at each home and move on to the next one. I have no drama or tied to anyone or anything. I feel I am in a perfect position.
My lender requires two years tax returns to structure the amount of a loan. I haven’t worked much the last part of 2014 with the oil prices dropping. How do I maintain the ability to get adequate funding? My contact at the bank suggested keeping a job but that cuts into house hunting, shopping, supervising, ect… Are there any full time flippers that can give advice?
