TX statutes have been enacted that do somewhat limit L/O dealings and rules but its still possible to some extent.
There’s a good bit online about this so it’d behoove you to spend some online time finding and reading these amendments.
“TX statutes lease option” will probably get you there quickly.
Also there has been an ongoing effort to educate REIs in TX about this and a constant watch on DFW & other TX RE Investment groups’ websites will find seminars and published matter on subject.
