Try finding out who the auctioneers are that are selling the foreclosures, and talk to their office. They will usually have a list of upcoming sales. Since they are paid on commission it’s to their benefit to have as many people at the sale, bidding, as possible.

Is it possible that the only steps needed to initiate foreclosure is to inform owner of impending foreclosure and then to post notice of sale in newspaper?
I have been searching everywhere, banks, clerks office, internet… I can’t find what I am looking for!
Any help would be better that superb

Reminds me of the story of the guy who was observed late one night, going from one street light to another then searching the ground intently…a curious bystander asked him what he was doing. He replied, I dropped a gold ring and I’m looking for it.
Puzzled, the bystander replied that he didn’t understand why the guy was looking only in the lighted areas.
The “loser” replied: What a stupid question! The other areas are too dark to look in!
Seriously, if one is wondering about TN law, wouldn’t it make ultimate good sense to look at TN law?
Easily done online in TN statutes, on a number of excellent websites, or by pulling TN Index to TN Statutes Volumes in any TN courthouse law library, finding foreclosures, etc., then reading to see what the TN statutes say.
