Hi, Funny you should ask. Recently I attended a tax lien auction. Lots of people there. Basically, the properties can start anywhere from $2000.00 on up. Some of these tax lien properties are houses some are just lots. Mostly the people who are bidding are people who are employed by developement companies, contractors, esquires and investors. So the bidding is very competitive. Once you win a bid you can put $800.00 down and then pay the rest in 30 days. If you don’t have it then they will sometime give you and extension. good luck
