My question is this I closed on my house Dec 1rst, my final walk inspection was two days before. The house has an oil furnace and the former owner let the oil run out, which cuz me to have a service person come out on a Sat afternoon to adjust and reset the furnace ( after I purchased oil). Since then the repair man has been our twice, the furnace has not worked correctly and now does not work at all. Are the former owners responsible for any of the cost? Part of my contract said everything has to be in working order when we closed.
