I live in upstate NY.In NY we mainly have deed sales so i am going to travel to wherever i want to buy tax liens so i am looking for a general education at this point,i will decide later specifically where i want to buy liens.I buy houses for a living so i know the gurus tell partial truths.I want to start learning now and do a few so in the future i can be knowledgable when i have more time

Like John said…tax liens/deeds/certificates vary all over the spectrum.

Do lots of it every year.

Tell us where you wish to do the investing and will try to assist you.

CAVEAT EMPTOR…it is NOT a win-win game as you see the TV Gurus…you can get BADLY BURNED in it just like all other investment.

Good Luck,
Bill H

Tax lien investing techniques are not universally the same so tell us please what state you’re in, or where you’re interested in investing.

I’ve done a good bit of TX TL investing and have a good book on same by TX lawyer, Darius Barazandeh.

He’s quite knowledgable and his book on same is very well done and a pretty complete education on how to do it in TX.

His website is www.theinformedinvestor.com
