Look in your phone book under the government pages to see if there are listings for your city or county. The local government would be able to send you information on their procedures.

Are tax liens available in Oregon and Washington? Where do I locate them? How do I go about acquiring them? Thanks

Dear Leo:

Tax certificates are not sold in either the states of Oregon or Washington. Real property tax lien foreclosures are conducted by public oral bid auctions.
