My 2cents
Have taped many business meetings on contracts of multi million price.
ALWAYS have the tape recorder visible and ask if there are any objections.
When objections were issued we merely cancelled the meeting.
When some of these negotiations went to ADR the tapes were admitted and no propblem ever occured.
IT is a no no to tape conversations without all parties being aware

I am currently in a debate with my business partners on whether it is a good idea or a bad idea to ask a seller/tennant buyer, (For Lease options and subject2’s), to sign off on allowing a transaction to be tape recorded.
1)Legally what could tape recording a signing do for an investor in court, and 2)how might it affect the trust factor of a potential client. I would like to get a small poll going on this topic. Thank you in advance for your responses.
