Subj2 paperwork for Texas - Posted by Cat - Tx

Hello, Jim…

I am in San Antonio. I am told either told you can’t do that or that I need the lender’s assumption package. Do you know of anyone here, locally? Also, since you have done deals here in Texas, would it be too much to ask exactly what paperwork is necessary? I’ve been told that Texas is different than other states in what they require.

Thank You.

Steve

Does anyone living in Texas have the necessary paperwork needed to initiate a subject to deal in Texas. I have contacted the title companies here and they act like they don’t know what I am talking about. I need the state specific contracts. Just curious… if not, I will contact a RE lawyer. Thanks in advance.

Cat,

The Lone Star State is a mighty big place - where in Texas are you located? If you’re in the Houston area, I can recommend a title company that is VERY familiar with “subject to” transactions.
