$300 is about the right price for fiberglass coated wood.
I built a mini deck for $200 and about 2 - 3 hours of time.

I am having a Home set up right now, and the old steps are not goin to fit to the County’s rules. The man that is setting up my home says he can get me some when he picks up the skirting for me.But he said they may cost over $300!! Now i think that is outrageous! Does anyone know how, or where to get discount stairs. Any ideas would help, thank you! Briton

I usually built my own steps out of pressure treated lumber. I can build a three step set complete with handrail for under $50 in materials, and less than one hour of my time. If you are handy with tools, or have a handyman, you could do this also.
