A state tax lien has been posted on my credit report. Although I am qualified and the paperwork is ready for a closing, this tax lien for $2300 is hindering the closing.
I am purchasing a sfr from a motivated seller. The lien is a result of a so-called overpayment of unemployment insurance. I will have cash back at close, but not before.
The satate won’t budge. What should I do?
