Papua New Guinea? I have always wanted to go there. Starting a Real estate business there may be quite different from here. Do you want to be a realtor and sell other peoples houses or invest in R.E on your own? Either way you need to know your territory. What are houses or other R.E. worth in your area? What have they sold for in the past six months? How much can you purchase them for? How much can you sell them for? What will it cost to fix them up? You have to go out and scout the territory and get answers. Build your knowledge of what you are trying to do. Then you will have a better knowledge of what the possibilities are. Where in Papaua are you located? I may be comming that way. Let us know.
