Hi I have been reading alot about real estate and wonder how I can start in actions without so much risk and not more than a year to wait for a return of profit.
What would be the best investment to start out small?
I just read about notes and cannot find out where to find information on where to find it cause I never took actions only read books and read articles. I know there is more to this then to just read about it.

(both by jon richards of course)
just to name a few. Hope this was helpful…
good luck and God bless

Hello Shirley,
Not sure exactly what you are asking here - you “… just read about notes, but cannot find information on where to find it cause you only read books and articles???”…
But, assuming you would like to look at note investing as something you might want to pursue, you only have to spend some time reading right through this discussion forum as far back as you want to go, in order to learn about the business, and how to operate in it. Best part of that process, is that it’s FREE. And if you have specific questions about a particular topic related to the note business, you simply have to select your subject as the “key word”, and enter that in the “Search” facility here at the top of this Forum. Chances are you will likely find the answer or answers already presented in terms of answering the question previously for somebody else.
Also, for information related to all facets of the note business, look through the product and course descriptions found here in CREO’s Bookstore, at:
http://www.real-estate-online.com/m_paper.htm
This should give you some idea of how you want to progress, and what you can do to get there. You can
also find other resources, simply by looking for information on real estate notes, mortgage notes, discounted paper, discounted cash flows, and similar topics, in one of your search engines on the web, such as yahoo.com.
By the way… I highly recommend that anybody looking at creative real estate investing or note investing, should take a look at William Broadbent’s excellent primer, OWNER WILL CARRY (only $30, and chock full of relevant and valuable information). Another excellent starter book is Jon Richards’ CALCULATOR POWER (only $40)… something you definitely want to master before moving along much further, and something that can also help you in gaining a better understanding of how to manage your personal financial life.
Hope this helps, and best wishes for your success;-)

I am tired of getting all these books and tapes and would like to get it later. I would like to take actions on notes. I would like to know which paper advertises them and what are the risk cause I would like to start small and learn alittle. It seems that the books dont tell everything.

You are correct books dont tell everything… You can read about how to swim, but you will never learn till you get into the water…
