It’s a pretty cheap way to do things, huh? A nice looking site for what, $8 or so?

I’m glad I could help. BTW: I noticed a broken link inside one of your three pages off of the left navigation bar. I forget which one.

Stacy,

Just a joke between Terry & me. I will tell you about it sometime.

Everytime I think I have seen it all, someone shows me an even higher level of stupidity. LOL

Hope things are well with you,

WilliamGA

I hope Stacy doesn’t mind but I will repost his earlier post. This type of info is why this web site is so great.

I was a computer programmer in a past life, but haven’t done any for probably 7 years. I decided to use Frontpage so I wouldn’t have to learn HTML. After going through the tutorial, I could build a basic site. But when it came to more advanced functions, I had to buy a book. Also, there are some great boards (like this one) where you can post questions and get answers from experts quickly. If you do a web search for “frontpage help” you should find them.

Also, when it comes to “themes”, I think you’d be lightyears ahead by buying a theme from one of the many theme designers that sell on the net. I paid $8 for the theme on my site, and just had to download it and start using it. There’s a theme gallery at www.icemocha.com if you’re interested. There are over 2000 of them at www.pixelmill.net as well.

I don’t think you’ll ever be 100% satisfied with your site. I know I’m always wanting to change mine. But, for the return on investment, I’m not so sure paying a pro is the way to go. If I was in a business that depended on e-commerce, I’d probably change my mind.

It’s either pixelmill.net or .com BUT - Posted by Carey_PA

I’m sure there are many many more sites where that one came from!

There is a post that is pobably several pages down that Stacy was kind enough to post about cheap “Themes” for web pages.

Themes being the type of look and style of your web page.

I do not still have the web site but he may be able to repost it, sorry.

You still have to make the page and create the words and your own feel, but this did make it easier and professional looking.

Hope this helps

Terry
