“Act”…that’s not a suggestion that is the program. Act is an excellent contact database, check out a free demo at www.act.com

Software/ Database for RE - Posted by Lee

I’ve been looking for a database to track foreclosures, divorces, notices of seizure, bankruptcies, judgments, obituaries and… you get the picture. Surely, someone is using a database that they trust and are satisfied with. Anyone care to recommend what you or someone you know uses.
Thanks
Lee

If your county has online information, you can do something pretty cool with a program called Internet Macros in conjunction wil FileMaker (or proabaly ACT! too).
If you have your property addresses or parcel #'s for say a month’s worth of foreclosures, you can input them into Internet Macros and it will automatically pull any info you want from your county website and put it into the database.
Then you can search your database according to bedrooms, Sq Ft, assessed value, foreclosure amount, or any other factor you want.
My friend set this up for me and he’s willing to do it for anyone else for a few hundred dollars - well worth it. Will pass his name on if anyone’s interested.
