Perhaps you should try another browser. I use Opera (as in opera . com) and it works great for me. Then again, I’m not on the high-speed information highway just yet…I’m cruising along in my '87 Nova dial-up. Although I do actually have wireless DSL throughout the house…I’m too lazy to hook it up in my office.

Yes, I have the same problem. On my computer, the page refreshes every time I click on a link (posting) or hit the back button.

I also have a problem when I respond to a message. If I try to go back and make a correction after submitting the response, my message disappears.

I don’t have these problems when I use my computer at work. My computer at home is a dial up, and at work it is a high-speed line.

So I assume I have some kind of bug in my software at home. I use an antivirus service and update it frequently. I have also run Adaware. No help.

I use IE 6.0. I have not tried Netscape.

By the way, I have not always had the problem. I think it started about three or four months ago.

Sure wish I could figure it out.

Bill Taylor: I have always found this website to be very clunky. I thought when I changed from my dial-up to cable that it would be better, but it’s not. I keep Netscape on my computer just for this site because I find there is less lag on Netscape on this site than my other browsers. Hard to believe that Netscape does anything better, isn’t it?
