What does the seller need? How much are they asking for in their pocket? Check with the county Sheriff to see how you can delay the sale. In my county an owner is entitled to two 2 week extensions totalling 4 weeks.

I have a contract on a house (preforeclosure deal) that is worth 210k…there is 136k owed on the 1st and 50k owed on the 2nd. I have negotiated the bank down to 20k on the 2nd and trying to go lower. the problem is the house is going to the steps on August 5th. Needs about 5k in repairs. Is that enough time to turn this to another investor or should I just pass?
