As long as you are willing to try to find them a property, I don’t see a problem. When they call, explain that you sold the house in the ad already, but that you do this regularly. Ask them what they are looking for (size, location, features, etc.). You can also pre-qualify them, then go find them the house of their dreams, and sell it to them on great terms. You’ll be their hero!
I am looking to put together a “subject to” deal on a single family property. I have been wondering whether I should first place an ad to see what response I can get in my area for a lease purchase property. Has anyone ever done this? I am not looking to mislead anyone but I wonder what response I may get. Any input would be appreciated.
