Short Sale - Seller filed Bankruptcy -What now?? - Posted by DJ - NYC

I did not bad mouth the lender. If you read my post, my issue is the bankruptcy filing. I have a contract signed. The latest is the full-price buyer has not pulled the trigger…

I am looking to buy a property that is it pal. I don’t care who the lender is.

If you can’t offer suggestions, keep your wise remarks to yourself.

Hey Investors

Anybody have any suggestions?:

I made a short sale offer of 475k on a House worth 600k ARV

repairs = 10k

The Bank is the notorious ASC (America’s Servicing Company).

In order to stop the Sale, the Seller filed Bankruptcy. Now I have no communication with ASC as I have not received an answer.

Any advise on what I should do now? The Seller has another possible buyer that is willing to pay FULL PRICE!

Any suggestions would be helpful. The place is Brooklyn, New York. The property has good cash flow potential.

Help?

Thanks,

DJ - NYC

You don’t have a legal agreement until a contract is signed. Can you actually blame the seller for taking a full price offer over a short sale? Wouldn’t you do the same?

I don’t know why you are bad mouthing the lender. Aren’t they protecting their investment? Wouldn’t you do the same if it was $475,000+ of YOUR money?
