If you were applying for loan and did not complete the application or left out pertinent documents would they approved it? NO. Do not to leave out any part of the short sale package.

I am currently preparing a Short Sale for a man that acquired this property from his spouses passing. The package asks for a hardship letter, paystubs, bank statements and tax returns. Is it neccessary to include all four or will most mortgage companies take what you acquire?
The mortgage company is Fairbanks Capital and the loan is still in the name of the deceased spouse.
Any advice or help from anyone with experience with the Short Sale process is greatly appreciated.
