Property is worth about 165-170k. Owner owns 184k - 3 months behind at 1810/mth. Would a short sale be possible? What is the maximum I should offer to the lender and how should I approach the lender to have the greatest chance for success? I have not done a short sale before and would be interested to learn more about it.
